Bio: Diego is the Director of Telefónica Research and leads a team of researchers in Machine Learning, HCI, Privacy, Networks and Systems. Currently, He is also leading ARIANA, a Telefónica Innovation startup project leveraging Artificial Intelligence for Automatic Network Actions. Previously Diego worked at Bell Labs (Paris, France) from September 2009 to June 2016 and six months at NICTA (Sydney, Australia) in 2016 as visiting researcher. His personal research areas are networking, systems and protocols. The current research interests include network measurements, AI/ML for networks, NFV/SDN, wearable networking, security, blockchain and distributed systems.

Bio: Theo is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at Brown University. His group works on designing frameworks and algorithms for solving networking problems with an emphasis on speeding up the Internet, improving network reliability, and simplifying network management. He has won multiple awards including best paper awards, an applied network research prize, various Yahoo!, Google, and Facebook Faculty Awards, and an NSF Career award.
